Bobby Damas

As a second-generation yacht broker, Bobby Damas has been around the marine industry his whole life. After graduating from Florida International University and following in his father’s footsteps to become a yacht broker, Bobby joined the HMY family in 2018.

Bobby’s passion for the yachting industry and drive to ensure his clients achieve their yacht-buying or yacht-selling goals are key factors in his success as a yacht broker.

Outside of work, you can probably find Bobby out on the water with his wife and three boys aboard the Damas family crown jewel, “Shake n Bake,” a fully restored 1975 Formula 23’ Center Console.

"On September 1st, 2019, we were hit by Hurricane Dorian, and when we got the chance to go to the site where we left (Elbow Cay, Abaco, Bahamas), we witnessed the devastation of the islands in the Abaco. We lost our house. So, in October 2019, we were looking for a boat to live on and liked very much the layout of the Azimut. We were willing to get a second-hand boat between 50' and 55'. We looked on the internet and saw various offers from different brokers. Bobby Damas from HMY was the most reactive broker among the others. He responded to our request within a few minutes. Then, he immediately presented us with various boats, following our directions and requests. After receiving different offers, we went to see him and visited different options. Finally, we found the right boat, and everything was simple & and smooth. Everything was done within 2-3 weeks, and we returned home with a great boat.

Anything we wanted was never a problem even if we know it could have been... and not only during that time but till today, two years later.
